New cards, a rebuilt detail page, and notifications with their own bell
New
- Notifications have their own bell. It sits next to your avatar, with a dot when something is unread, and opens a list you can mark read or clear in one go. Read notifications tidy themselves away after 30 days.
- One status button, one menu. Every card and detail page has a single status pill; tap it to open a menu right underneath with everything you can do — start, finish, shelve, log, remove. On a phone it opens as a sheet from the bottom.
- Your rating, like and finish travel together. Everywhere a title shows how you feel about it, you'll see the same little row: a check if you've finished it, your stars, and a heart if you liked it. On a card, your stars replace the outside score once you've rated.
- A new home screen. What you're in the middle of and what's newly out show as wide cards with where you left off; discovery rows are lighter, with "+ Add" appearing when you hover.
- TV shows got an Up Next card and season tabs. The next episode sits at the top with Mark watched and Skip, and each season has its own tab and progress line.
- See what the people you follow think. The detail page lists who's watching, reading or playing a title right now — not just who finished it — with their stars, their heart, and a link that jumps straight to their review.
Improved
- Cards look and read better. One card design across the app, with the badge on the art, a line above the poster that says why it's in a filter or sort, and the year, score and your marks bulleted underneath.
- Detail pages are cleaner. A bigger title and a score strip up top, a panel that stays in view as you scroll, a taller hero image, and a fuller Details table — rating, writers, studio, seasons, publisher, franchise and series.
- Reviews put yours first, then reviews from people you follow, then everyone else. Long reviews collapse with a More link, and the list shows five before "Show all".
- The detail sheet dims the page behind it more, and its previous / next arrows sit in the margins and tell you which title is next.
- On phones, the tab bar is down to four tabs. Your profile, settings and sign out live behind your avatar in the top bar, which opens as a sheet.
- Game pages no longer crop tall key art to a thin strip at the top.
Fixed
- Episode ratings and likes stay in step between the Up Next card and the episode list.
- Carousels no longer scroll up and down by accident.
